I am Julie (with an ‘e’). I am the Executive Director of the Child and Family Advocacy Center and conduct forensic interviews at the CFAC. I have been working with children and families for over 20 years and am very passionate about giving a voice to children and underserved populations. I enjoy working with the teams to improve outcomes for children, their families, and our communities. Outside of work, you will find me on my family farm cooking or canning.

Hi, my name is Tiana. I am the MDT Coordinator at the Child and Family Advocacy Center. I’m committed to supporting our multidisciplinary teams and nurturing open, positive relationships across all disciplines. I work closely with our multidisciplinary teams during our case review process by coordinating and facilitating these meetings that serve open child/vulnerable adult abuse and neglect cases. I also work to help coordinate forensic interviews and support our teams through this process. I look forward to assisting with outreach, prevention efforts, and community events as well. When I am not working, you will find me cheering on my kids at their sporting events, hanging out with my family, going on long walks, being on the lake, gardening, and doing anything and everything outside. I love meeting new people and building relationships. I look forward to working with all of our partners to help support safe communities for our kids and families.

Hi, I am Crystal, and I am the lead forensic interviewer at the Child and Family Advocacy Center. I also serve as the administrative assistant. I have always had a passion for working with children. Prior to becoming an interviewer, I worked in many different areas within the special education system in the school settings. My role as the interviewer is to provide a safe, victim friendly space to have conversations with individual when there is a concern of maltreatment. To provide that, I spend a great deal of time gaining as much knowledge and training as possible when it comes to the field of forensic interviewing. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and am always up for an adventure.

Hi, I am Berit, and I am a child and family advocate at the Child and Family Advocacy Center. My role is to help connect victims and families to resources or services, help navigate the court process, and provide emotional support. I enjoy getting to know children and their family and finding ways to meet them where they are in the moment. I have a passion for helping and working with children and their families in multiple volunteer positions. In my free time, I can be found doing Tae Kwon Do, tending to my growing plant collection, reading, or hiking with my dog.
