The Team
The multidisciplinary team is a partnership of professionals working in child protective services, mental health, victim advocacy, legal advocacy, and investigation.
The multidisciplinary team works with the Child and Family Advocacy Center of South Central Minnesota to ensure victims and their families or caregivers receive the advocacy and support needed to heal.
The multidisciplinary team is a partnership of professionals working in child protective services:

- Advocacy Services
- Mental Health
We believe that addressing cases of child abuse as a team makes certain that victims are safe and their needs are being met. Having the professionals all in one room ensures that these agencies are cohesive in their coordination of services. It also allows the victim to have to tell their story only once.
The multidisciplinary team meets monthly for case-management review and to coordinate services. Our goal is to invest as many professionals and resources possible to ensure a path towards healing for our clients. Furthermore, our team participates in monthly peer reviews and participates in continuing education in trauma-informed best-practices for response to abuse of children and vulnerable adults.
